Both Tony and Peggy love to read and we each have our own style and favorites but we absolutely agree on two of the authors we’ve had as guests on the StressLess Camping podcast. They are listed here in order of last name.

John and Kathy Huggins

John and Kathy Huggins created the Living the RV Dream podcast and inspired many, many of us. Our very first podcast episode was with them and they have several good books that are still benchmarks to RVers. Listen to our podcast episode with John & Kathy Huggins here.

RV Love - Marc and Julie Bennett

Two-time best selling authors Marc and Julie Bennett from RVLove share tips for getting the book you’ve always wanted to write into reader’s hands. The Bennetts have twice published books RVers love and have some great ideas to get the words flowing.

Karen Musser-Nortman

Karen has several series including the Frannie Shoemaker series, where Frannie always ends-up in some sort of hot water while camping. There are also the Time Travel Trailer books.

You can find our podcast episode with Karen here along with direct links to her website and books on Amazon and Kindle.

Nathan Pettijohn

Nathan Pettijohn has an inspiring first-time RV adventure with his dog Hafa and the book he wrote inspired by that journey. Hear our episode with Nathan using the button below.

Cowboy Kent Rollins

We had a great time talking to Cowboy Kent Rollins about cast iron cooking and cookware tips. Kent’s Chuck Wagon barbecue was named the official Chuck Wagon of Oklahoma by the governor. Yo can listen to our episode with Cowboy Kent by clicking the button below.

Nick Russell

In addition to some great series of detective/mystery books Nick Russell has also written a number of travel guides.

You can find our podcast episode with Nick Russell here along with direct links to his books on Amazon and Kindle.

Other notable mentions

Sometimes it’s great to read about things other than RV stuff. But we’ve also got some great RV-related books to check out.
