RV writer, blogger and content creator Tony Barthel

I am a writer and blogger and content producer who focuses on the RV space. I have a history as a content provider including having written the syndicated Curbside column about cars.

I currently provide RV related content to a number of resources including RVTravel, Airstream Life, Girl Camper, RVTrader and more.

As a child when my family would go to the Los Angeles County Fair when the others would be interested in the booths, the rides or the farm animals. Me - I was accosting the RV people going in and out of RVs and checking out all the different trends and designs.

I even fancied myself an RV designer and drew lots and lots of various RVs. I also wanted to be a car designer but I would have settled for RV designs.

RV Industry veteran

For several years I worked at an RV dealership in Northern California - Redwood Empire RVs. At this smaller dealership I was responsible for both matching customers and RVs in a sales capacity but I also handled much of the warranty department. I learned a lot about how the RV industry works from the inside. I also learned how customers shop for and perceive RVs.
